Ronald C. Gilbert, CHA ( President)

As President, Ron is responsible for the overall management of the company. With more than 30 years of experience in the industry, Ron has held numerous positions throughout his career, including general manager at full service union hotels, boutique independent hotels and regional operations manager of multiple hotel portfolios in publicly traded hotel companies. He has a demonstrated record in distressed property turn-around, hotel openings, cash and cost control management, and the ability to create and implement focused sales and marketing plans to drive REVPAR and market share.

Ron has a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Hotel Administrator. Ron’s community and industry involvement includes board positions for the Penn State Hotel and Restaurant Society, Philadelphia Rotary Club, Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association, The Philadelphia SKAL Club, Bucks and Philadelphia County Chambers of Commerce, American Hotel and Lodging Association. He was a recipient of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s prestigious 40 under 40 award, and often lectures in hospitality management at Drexel, Temple, Widener, and Penn State Universities’ hotel management programs.

 

 

Vincent S. Ciro ( Vice President, Business Development )

 

In Mr. Ciro’s role, he is responsible for attracting all new business for the management company as well as assist in the supervision of the operations at each of the properties. Mr. Ciro started with Growth Properties as the Vice President of Operations and was responsible for the overall operations direction for the hotels in the portfolio. In his current role, Vince meets regularly with prospective clients and explains how a management company can be a very successful part of the hotels performance.

Mr. Ciro brings 11 years of Hotel and Casino food and beverage experiences including takeover and new development. Mr. Ciro’s prior professional experience includes general manager positions at, Renaissance Hotel, DoubleTree Hotel and Holiday Inn Hotels. Mr. Ciro also has 6 years of high volume food and beverage experiences from the Sands Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. Mr. Ciro graduated from Widener University with Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Management.

 

Agnes Brennan ( Corporate Controller)

Ms. Brennan’s accomplishments include designing the accounting and computer system for a new 200-room hotel and conference center. This property was the first to be managed by that company; therefore there were no previous policies and procedures to follow. She is experienced in problem solving as it relates to hotel property management and accounting software. Ms. Brennan has designed numerous cost control programs allowing quick, detailed and accurate "What If?" type of analysis.

The ability to bring operations and accounting together has allowed Mrs. Brennan to be very successful in streamlining procedures while providing all department managers simple yet powerful tools to run their operations efficiently and profitably.

 

Jon Moffett (Corporate Director, Human Resources)

Mr. Moffett joined Growth Properties in 1999 before which he served in a sales and marketing capacity with Meristar Hotels and Resorts, LLC in Philadelphia. In his current capacity, Mr. Moffett oversees benefits purchasing and administration, policy enforcement, labor relations, personnel law compliance, recruitment and retention, liability insurance administration, risk management, and IT solutions.

 

Elizabeth Cimino, CHSP ( Corporate Director, Sales & Marketing and Revenue Management)

Elizabeth Cimino, a graduate from East Stroudsburg University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management, brings with her over 15 years of hospitality experience. She has been employed by Growth Properties since 1996, and she has held positions within the Growth Properties portfolio as Director of Sales at the Hampton Inn Philadelphia-Northeast in Bensalem, PA and the Holiday Inn Cherry Hill, NJ. Elizabeth is a sales professional with years of multi-property experiences and proven sales strategies. As Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing, she is responsible for the overall sales and marketing efforts of the hotels and restaurants in the Growth Properties portfolio.  Elizabeth has served on the board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association.

 

Marcy Miluzzo ( Regional Director of Sales and Marketing)

As Regional Director of Sales, Marcy oversees the sales efforts for multiply properties in the Growth Properties portfolio. Marcy’s background consists of both sales and operations at Crowne Plaza Philadelphia, Radisson Hotels, and General Manager of Spring Mill Country Club, a multi-million dollar property located in Pennsylvania. Marcy has proven abilities in motivating sales teams, positioning hotels in the right direction of increasing revenue and building lasting relationships with key clients.

 

Philip K. Brewer, CHA ( Regional Director, Operations )

Phil is directly responsible for the daily supervision and operation of the Holiday Inn Philadelphia - Cherry Hill, as well as being involved with Third Party Management of other hotels within the Growth Properties portfolio.  Phil's area of expertise is in the Budgeting and Accounting areas, and works closely with various properties to develop and then implement initial budgets, as well as serving as a consultant in future budgeting exercises.

He serves on the Intercontinental Hotels Group General Manager's Advisory Board, a position he has now held for five years, and is also a two term Chairman of the Board of the Greater Cherry Hill Chamber of Commerce.  In addition, he is a member of the board of the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association, serving on various committees, as well as a member of SKAL Philadelphia.
